| June 4th 2006. If you looked out at dawn and thought it was too windy to paddle you made a big mistake! Wind dropped to nothing and we all got round the point to Cape of Good Hope. |

| Oceans Eleven. Sunday March 5th at last dawned windless after what has seemed years of constant wind. Eleven lucky paddlers met at Buffels to paddle to Cape point and see if we could get round. After a stop at the cave we paddled around the Point itself into 3 meter swells. It seemed a bit much to continue further round as the beach breaks would of course be huge as the swell was large and after the photo call had some excellent surfing back to Buffels. |
